Dr Rebecca Nisbet is Research Fellow at the Florey and an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Queensland. Dr Nisbet completed her PhD in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Melbourne. She was then awarded an OCE Postdoctoral Fellowship at CSIRO followed by an Alzheimer's Australia Dementia Research Fellowship at the University of Queensland before returning to Melbourne with a Yulgilbar Fellowship.

Dr Nisbet's team develops novel antibody therapeutics for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and related dementia's as well as strategies to enhance their delivery across the blood-brain barrier and into neurons.
