How does a mutation linked to autism spectrum disorder lead to changes in brain connectivity?

The brain is a highly interconnected structure with highways that transfer lots of information. These highways connect parts of the brain that need to work together.

Importantly, we know that these networks are disconnected in many different brain diseases. We’re interested in understanding how genetic mutations found in autism spectrum disorder can alter brain connectivity in mice.

This project will suit someone keen to get into coding and data pipelines. You’ll be well supported by the team, including a software engineer.
