The Neuroimaging Laboratory

Led by Professor Gary F Egan and supported by thirteen staff and eleven students, the Neuroimaging Laboratory conducts diverse research interests, falling into three main categories

The Interoception Laboratory

Led by Dr Michael Farrell and supported by one staff and four students, the Interoception Laboratory investigates the neural representation of sensations that are generated by afferent signals from within the body.

The Florey's Professor Gary Egan and his Neuroimaging group were the driving force behind the 14th Annual Meeting of the Organisation for Human Brain Mapping, held 15 - 19 June 2008. More than 1,500 brain imaging researchers from around the world attended the meeting, and it was the first time this annual meeting was held in the Southern Hemisphere. To hear about the meeting tune into Channel 10's 9am with David and Kim.
