The Brain Fitness Challenge presented it's 2010 awards and launched the opening of this year's challenge in a presitge cocktail function held at the Executive Lounge in the Alan Gilbert Building in Parkville on Tuesday 22 February.

Geoff Donnan welcomed corporate and scientific guests to the evening, and John Atkin from The Trust Company announced his company’s continuing support for this unique on-line event.

The trophies, unique brushed aluminium paperweights in a stylised representation of a brain, were designed and produced by young Melbourne artist, Rupert Porter. They were presented to the winning teams and individuals, coincidentally all from UBS:

Top Team – Points: Mark to Market

Top Cog (individual points): Belinda Maclay

Top Team – Fundraising: Team Hanlon

Top Fundraiser: Elizabeth McGinley

Jenni Elliot then showcased the BFC website with some 2011 demonstration challenges, leaving guests scratching their heads for the correct answers.

This year’s Challenge will run from 10-18 August – and we hope you will encourage your friends to give it a go! To register your details visit www.brainfitnesschallenge.org
