Dr De Aizpurua’s role as Head of Business Development encompasses the management of all aspects of the Florey’s intellectual property and commercialisation opportunities. He has previously worked as a medical researcher at the Mayo Clinic and Foundation (USA) and the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research before moving into the life sciences industry with Sigma Aldrich for several years. Dr De Aizpurua is a Board Member of NeuProtect Pty Ltd, Radical Biotechnology Pty Ltd and Nephrodynamics Pty Ltd. In addition, he is a graduate of the Williamson Leadership program.
